Wonderful euro-game with moderate complexity level and excellent synergy of different mechanics!

Incredible game. I haven't been this impressed since I first played Heat.

Endless Winter quickly became one of my favorites, but i think it was a little much for the family to play very frequently. i was worried that all the disparate systems would feel complicated, but i like how you get to duke it out on multiple different battlefields, so to speak. for example, my wife and i might be fighting for area control with villages, while my sone and i are fighting for animals in the hunting grounds. multiply that by everyone working their own strategies, selecting actions early to gain the bonuses and building their decks, and its a crazy good time. hopefully we can play it many more times!

We thought it would be too hard for us but after one game we knew how to play. We love it!

The unique features of the leading bonus in the worker placement, the resource tracks, the straightforward deck-building, and the overall balance of diverse strategies combined with the absolutely stellar art and components make this my favorite game in this space.

Fun, lots of strategy, heavy. Learning curve is quite steep, but mechanics are intuitive. Once you learn it, it all make sense. Love the various mini games: - terrain influence, which is an area control game - megaliths placement, which is a tile placement game There are various strategies, like deck building, cultural cards, idol research, and the above mention terrain and megaliths strategies. First game took 4 hours+, due to learning. But we wanted to replay immediately. Highest point in first game was 90+, which makes us want to beat 100.
