WIP_Dreamworld: An Unconscious Mind Card Game EN

I can’t believe a game like this actually exists! I’ve spent months looking forward to receiving it, and I finally played it with high expectations—but the game experience was even better than I could have ever hoped. Sorry to my game collection; it looks like I won’t be playing anything else but Unconscious Mind for a while.

After the beautiful "mechanism soup" of Endless Winter, I was worried about this one falling into a similar trap, but I was compelled enough to pledge nonetheless. Every mechanism blends seamlessly - not only with each other, but with the theme. This may be my favorite came right now.

Wow! Another perfect Boardgame! Feeling and Complexity, amplifying mechanics, thematic Immersion and interaction feel very much like Darwin's Journey, more complex than Arc nova and on one level as Lisboa, maybe even more complex, …beautiful and satisfying!

Surprisingly good. It ramps up well and gets very crunchy the last third of the game. However, due to the theme and great artwork my wife was still able to enjoy it, even though she doesn’t normally like such complex games.

Greater and deeper as we play... Love diving through our unconscious mind ! Lighter than we thought, absolutely gorgeous. It takes some time to understand the rules, but once done it flows with loads of decisions. Good at two, great at three players ! Enjoy.

Needs a few more plays to solidify it's position, but after five plays its probably my favorite game of 2024.

I have played it twice with my wife. Many symbols in the beginning to remember but the player aids help a lot. Fantastic production that stands up in the table ,a well written rulebook with lots of examples.the hard part is to remember some tiny details in the rules but after 2-3 rounds you will be able to remember them. As for the game itself, it gave as the filling that we are actually therapists and try to cure our clients.all the actions makes sense after 2-3 rounds and the downtime decreased a lot when we learned all the actions. For me and my wife is a solid 9. Unconscious mind will come to our table a lot.

Pleasant like a good single malt whisky. To play on a cold night in front of the fireplace. It oozes theme if considering Vienna early 1900's, don't go searching for a psychoanalysis simulator. Quite fiddly but plays fast after a few turns. Tons to do and little time to do it. Glad I bought it and looking forward to the next session.

It's a really good combo-ific euro that doesn't overstay its welcome. Its variable, and end game is player controlled. You do way less yet way more than you think.
