Nominations Galore for Unconscious Mind
It has been an amazing first half of a year for Unconscious Mind, with plenty of nominations for a plethora of contests! Let’s have a look at each contest, as well as what Unconscious Mind has been nominated for!
Dice Tower Awards
An array of nominations for Unconscious Mind for the 18th Annual Dice Tower Awards, each of which made us prouder and prouder! Namely, Unconscious Mind has been nominated for the below categoris:
- Game of the Year
- Best Small Publisher
- Best Strategy Game
- Best Artwork
- Best Theming
- Best Production Value
- Best Solo Game
The results for the Dice Tower Awards will be announced at GenCon 2025, taking place between July 31st and August 3rd, so stay tuned for that!
Origins
We were brimming with excitement when we received the news about Unconscious Mind being one of the finalists for the 48th Annual Origins Awards’ Heavy Strategy category! But alas, it was not to be. As we learned on June 21st, the also amazing Endeavor: Deep Sea claimed the award instead!
Golden Geek Awards
Unconscious Mind was featured in three different categories for this year’s Golden Geek Awards and ended up claiming the Best Artwork/Presentation Award! More specifically, Unconscious Mind was nominated for:
- Heavy Game of the Year
- Thematic Game
- Artwork Presentation
SPIEL Portugal
Nominated for “Jogo do Ano” (english – Game of the Year) Unconscious Mind finds itself among Terminus, Endeavor: Deep Sea, SETI and Shackleton Base!
This award, created in 2006 by Spiel Portugal, tries to reveal since then the most relevant gamer’s game of the year. You can take a look at the historical panel through the years right below
